Start By Making a List

Write everything down! Planning your move properly makes life so much easier. Create a record of all the items and their locations before you pack even one box, create a simple record keeping system. Create a list of numbers with a space to write the contents. Another option is to have a notebook for the job. You'll place a number on EVERY box you pack and list the contents in the notebook as a reference for when you unpack.

When moving house it's always surprising how much stuff you have accumulated, you always have more than you thought you did, that is why you will need lots of boxes - probably more boxes than you think, and having enough boxes will make your life much easier!
